The Warriors faced the Lake Highlands Wildcats in the Championship Game. Immediately, Patrick Sladek caught fire in the first half, scoring 17 points. His leadership in the second half led the Warriors to victory. The Wildcats gave up 30 points to the Warriors in the first half, but came out a new team after halftime, holding the Warriors to only 2 points in the third quarter. However, the Warriors answered back with 15 points in the 4th quarter, defeating the Wildcats 47-42. Luke Durham hit 4 three-pointers throughout the game, scoring 12 points. Brandon Parks (7 points) and Corey Levinson (6 points), scored most of their points in the second half. The coaches are thrilled and proud of the Warriors efforts over the duration of the tournament. The athletes were resilient and played well as a team. They have played some of the best basketball all season at these four games and will continue to roll with this momentum into the new year, playing their final 12 district games of the 2018-2019 season.
