Title: Assistant Cheerleading Coach

Coach Pamela Rembowski grew up in Victorville, California. She has 20 years of sideline and competitive cheerleading experience including participating in middle school, high school, and collegiate cheer, as well as coaching high school cheer teams in California and Michigan.

As a graduate of Serrano High School in 2004, Coach Rembowski was a member of the varsity cheerleading team.  She competed in team competitions, as well as competing with an individual routine.  She was awarded MVP two years in row and also received the Most Inspirational Cheerleader award.

As a freshman at the University of California, Santa Barbara, she was a member of the co-ed cheerleading squad. She graduated from California State University, San Bernardino, in 2012 with a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and a minor in Sociology.  Then in 2012, she graduated from California Polytechnic Pomona with a Master’s of Science in Pure Mathematics.

Although this is her first year as a coach at Westwood High School, the 2018-2019 school year will be her 6th year coaching cheerleading.  Prior to teaching and coaching at WHS, she taught Mathematics and coached cheerleading in California and in Michigan.  In 2013 she coached while pregnant, then decided to take a break from cheer.  However, she is very excited to be back in the cheer world!
