Westwood Warrior Volleyball Coaches

Kate Zora
Head Coach Varsity
464-4056

After graduating from McNeil High School in 1996, Coach Zora with several honors under her belt, spent her freshman year as the starting OH at Texas Christian University. After a year of collegiate ball, Coach Zora transferred to Texas A&M University where she was the coach and president of the Texas A&M Women's club team. During her 3 year tenure at Texas A&M, she led the team to a top 10 finish each year at the NIRSA championships. She was also a commissioner and founder of the SCVA which created a league of women's collegiate volleyball teams throughout the state of Texas. After graduation, Coach Zora coached several club teams including Bay Area Juniors, South Shore Juniors, Texas Eclipse and Austin Juniors. During her high school head coaching experience she has recorded an outstanding record of 130-67 in her first 5 years. In 2007, she was nominated the All-Williamson County Coach of the Year. The last two seasons at Westwood, her teams have won over 30 games each year.
