Season Updates

7th Annual Home Run Derby and BBQ

The Lady Warrior Softball team hosted their 7th Annual Homerun Derby fundraiser event on Saturday, January 21. They would like to thank everyone for the great support from the participants, to the parents, and to the friends of our program. It was a great success and we could not have done it with you all. Thank you!!.

5th Annual Westwood Softball Golf Tournament

This year’s 5th Annual Westwood Softball Golf Tournament fundraiser was held on Nov 7, 2011 at Twin Creeks Country Club. Mark Short, the Golf Tournament Director wants to thank all of the golfers, sponsors, and families that helped make this year’s tournament a success! Mark said that even in a slow economy the golf tournament raised over 16K this year to go directly toward scholarships, new equipment, and uniforms for the program. Thanks again to everyone that participated and helped make this a success!

Coach Gates Completes Half Marathon

This past Sunday (Feb 20th) was the 20th Anniversary of the Austin Marathon. Coach Gates ran 13.1 miles, making her a Half Marathon finisher. The softball girls and staff were there to support her. Congrats Coach Gates!!!!!!
