January 20, 2012 - For those of you attending the Westlake Tournament this weekend, an updated tournament bracket has been published for Saturday's games. Just select the "Click for Bracket" field on the team schedule pages to view the updated bracket. Best of luck to our JV Orange and JV White teams.

Rosters for the 2012 Season Released
January 10, 2012 - In an effort to make the most out of your Westwood Soccer experience, we have now published all five (5) team rosters. If you are new to the site, Varsity Player and Coach Profiles can be viewed by clicking on the player/coach name listed on those rosters.
Additionally, to aid you in getting to the game, click on each location on the schedule page for a detailed map. We ask everyone to visit a game or two each week as we show our support for our student athletes and coaches!

Coach Donahue Nominated to Hall of Honor
December 07, 2011 - It was announced today that Coach Jim Donahue has been nominated to the TASCO (Texas Association of Soccer Coaches) Soccer Hall of Honor. He is one of a handful of coaches nominated for this prestigious award which will be announced at the completion of the 2012 season.
This nomination combined with his selection as a National Federation Coaches Association State Coach of the Year provide a small glimpse into the man we know as Coach "D".

Spirit Night Scheduled for December 7th
November 30, 2011 - Congratulations to each of our student athletes selected to represent Warrior Soccer in 2012! To get the season off to a great start, we will be hosting a Spirit Night/Potluck Dinner on Wednesday, December 7th at 7:00pm in the Westwood High School Cafeteria.
Parents and players will have the opportunity to see spirit wear samples, purchase yard signs, pay necessary fees, sign up as poster advertisers, meet the coaches and share in a potluck dinner. Please bring the following to the cafeteria
that evening:
Seniors: Deserts (10-12 Servings) or Cookies (2 Dozen)
Juniors: Main Dishes (10-12 Servings)
Sophomores: Side Dishes (10-12 Servings)
Freshman: Drinks (12 packs)
Plates, cups, ice and eating utensils will be provided. Please RSVP with the type of food you will be bringing to lbjcpa@sbcglobal.net no later than 12/1/11. Your Westwood Soccer Family looks forward to to seeing you there and thanks you for your support!

Coach Donahue Texas NFHS Coach of the Year
October 17, 2011 - It was announced yesterday that Coach "D" has been selected as a National Federation Coaches Association State Coach of the Year. As a result, he is automatically nominated for sectional coach of the year and will be considered along with other coaches in our section for this honor.
