Westwood Warrior Basketball Fundraising Opportunities

Dear Westwood Basketball Family. We’re excited to welcome you and your student athlete into another high octane, fast paced, runnin’ and gunnin’ basketball season.   As the head coach of this program, it has always been my philosophy to go out and get the nicest things possible for the players in our program.  We do this, to give them a sense of pride, responsibility, and achievement.   Over the last few seasons, we have raised money to buy:

-Nike practice gear for the JV and Varsity- The same gear the University of Texas wears.

-Texas Orange Nike Travel suits for the Varsity

- New Freshmen and JV Travel Bags

-New Lockers for the locker room

-A 50 inch plasma television for the locker room

-  Projector and large screen in the Locker room

- A stereo system for the locker room

- Nike JV travel suits

-Varsity Warm up shooting shirts

- Varsity trip to South Padre Island for a premier tournament. (estimated cost - $4,000.00)

- A highlight Video from Carl Jones for the Varsity players of the entire season’s games. ($1500.00)

In order to continue to represent our program as one of the top programs in the area, we will need your support in donating money and/or fundraising for the program.  We are asking each player to donate $200.00, or help fundraise for that dollar amount by participating in the 2011-2012 Westwood Shoot-a-Thon.  Thanks and GO WARRIORS!!
