JV Orange- 13

Round Rock- 41

The Warriors played Round Rock. Th offense had a good start but were unable to score until late in the 2nd quarter when Brooks Eady hit Miles Pierce on a 65 yard TD pass. The score at the half was 21-7 Round Rock. The last score from the Warriors was a 25 yard TD pass from Eady to Michael O’bierne. Offense standout were Brooks Eady,Miles Pierce, Quentin Thomas and Michael O’beirne. The offensive line played their best of the year, Eadyu had a lot of time to throw. The defensive standouts were Travis Fueling,Eric Herbert and Alex Chinchilla,Mitchell Gibson also caused a fumble. The Warriors play the Leander Lions next week

JV White- 7

Round Rock- 41

The Westwood Warriors lost their second game of the season to the Round Rock Dragons making their record to 3-2 on the season. Quarterback Kyle Jacobson threw the ball well but the Warrior offense had trouble staying on the field. Dalton Buchan scored the only touchdown of the day for the Warriors. The Warrior defense started the game off a little slow but as usual they responded to adversity well and played a tougher game in the second half. Defensive End Jacob Levitus forced two fumbles and recovered one and Linebacker Jae Suh had a fumble recovery one the night as well. Next week the JV White football team will play away in Leander.

Freshman Orange- 44

Round Rock- 28

The Freshmen Orange team got off to a slow start in the game tonight and was trailing 20-6 at the half. The Warriors scored on a touchdown pass to Rory McCullough. In the second half however, the Warriors came alive.

They came out and marched down the field and scored on a pass from Ben Johnson to Matt Schwarz. Then the defense and special teams forced two turnovers. Daniel Berry had two fumble recoveries while Oscar Rivera and Ian Fry forced them. The defense played inspired football while the offense began to execute. Rory McCullough added two more touchdowns while Ben Johnson and Weslee Rocco added one as well. The entire offensive line was very good and Quinton Marshall ran the ball tough, but was unable to get in the end zone. The defense was led by Tyler Lewis, Paul Dickensheets, Chris Baddour, and Andrew Medford. The Warriors play next week against the Leander Lions.

Freshman White- 12

Round Rock– 28

The Freshman white team moved to 3 -2 on the season with a tough lose to the Round Rock Dragons. Costly interceptions and turnovers made for a long night for the Warrior offense. Some offensive standouts where Grayson Knavel with a 70 yard pass reception from Tucker Kennemer along with a touchdown run from Jervoni Franklin and another from Victor Young. Some defensive standouts were Chris Adams with a fumble recovery, along with another from Jordan Glynn which he returned for 40 yards. The Warrior White team will play Leander next week at the Warrior Bowl.
