WESTWOOD 2007 JV TOURNAMENT

Welcome to the Westwood JV tournament.

Entry fee: RRISD requires us to charge a $50 entry fee for sub-varsity tournaments plus baseball supply for each game (shared with opponent). Please make checks payable to Round Rock ISD and mail to Bart Bratcher at Westwood HS, 12400 Mellow Meadow, Austin, TX 78750. ASAP!!!!

Format: round robin with a seeded bracket

a. No tie breaker for tied games, but standings tie breakers are:

1. best record (ties are .5 W/.5 L)

2. head to head record or best record among tied

3 fewest runs allowed in the tied group

4. fewest runs allowed in the tournament

5. coin toss

b. No pre-game infield is allowed except for the first game of each day. First game pre-game routine will be 10 minutes maximum with the home team going 35 minutes prior to the game and the visitor going 23 minutes prior to the game. Use it on time or lose it.(No exceptions) Use the cages and the JV field as available.

c. Visitor chooses their dugout, but Westwood always gets their home dugout. HOME TEAM IS LISTED FIRST BELOW.

Run Rules: 10 after 5, 8 after 6

Time limit: No inning may start after 2 hours. Time limits may be adjusted by the tournament director as weather dictates.
